These Terms of Use govern the virtual assistant and administrative support services provided by Meredith Gerard, doing business as GVL Virtual Solutions, a sole-owner business based in Greenville County, South Carolina. These Terms are not legal advice and may not cover every situation.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities
Clients must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, and the necessary access to tools or accounts required to perform the agreed-upon services.
3. Description of Services
GVL Virtual Solutions provides virtual assistant and administrative support primarily to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and real estate professionals. Services are performed remotely/online.
4. Proposals, Scope of Work, and Changes
A formal proposal or Scope of Work (SOW) will outline the specific tasks, deadlines, and deliverables. Any requests for work outside the initial scope may require a new proposal or an adjustment to current fees.
5. Fees, Invoicing, and Payment
Fees are detailed in your proposal. Invoices are issued according to the agreed schedule (e.g., bi-weekly or monthly) and are due upon receipt. Late payments may result in a suspension of services.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Refunds for completed work or prepaid hourly retainers are generally not provided, unless explicitly stated in your individual contract.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the Client owns the final deliverables created specifically for them. GVL Virtual Solutions retains ownership of its proprietary templates, workflows, and pre-existing methods used to deliver the services.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your confidential business information and personal data. Our practices are detailed in our separate Privacy Policy. We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all non-public client information.
9. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimers
Services are provided 'as is.' We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. In no event shall GVL Virtual Solutions be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
10. No Guarantees
While we strive for excellence, GVL Virtual Solutions does not guarantee specific business results, revenue increases, or success metrics as a result of our administrative support.
11. Third-Party Tools and Services
We may use or recommend third-party tools (e.g., Project Management software). We are not responsible for the performance, security, or uptime of these external platforms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice as defined in the Scope of Work. Final invoices for work completed up to the date of termination will be due immediately.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Carolina, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Greenville County, South Carolina.
14. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

No guarantees are made regarding specific business outcomes, revenue growth, or success metrics. Clients are solely responsible for their own business decisions and should seek independent professional advice where necessary.
GVL Virtual Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our limitation of liability is strictly governed by our full Terms of Use.
